BARNEY'S BAKERY IS THE BEST BAKERY IN BAY CITY!! IT'S A LITTLE HIDDEN AWAY ON SOUTH VAN BUREN STREET, BUT DEFINITELY WORTH FINDING AND TRYING!! YOU'LL LOVE THE FRESH BAKED AND FRIED GOODS THAT THEY HAVE IN THEIR COUNTERS!

About midnight Mondays Barney's Bakery starts cooking. Great smell that blocks the smell of sugar beets. The pasterie are delicious but my favorite is the fresh Italian bread. Friendly staff that greet you with a smile no matter how hot it is. Thank you very much Barney's Bakery.

My family's favorite bakery. We almost always leave with a dessert bread and a dozen donuts. This gem, hidden inside a seedy part of Bay City, is authentic and warms the heart. There are a few good bakeries in town, but Barney's Bakery is the best.
